Thin Green Line
The Thin Green Line Foundation was established to support the families of rangers who have been killed in the line of duty, and also to support worthwhile conservation projects that assist to keep rangers safe in their jobs.
Funds have been raised with the help of an inspiring documentary made by a Victorian Park Ranger, Sean Willmore, which was released worldwide on International Ranger Day, July 31st 2007. The Documentary focusses on the role of rangers around the world and some of the dangers they face in the name of conservation. Over 15000 people watched the film on this night, and all profits from the purchase and screenings of the film are being donated to ranger families who have lost their loved ones.
