The fully stoked company has two levels of support for different organisations.
Our first level of support is by way of an annual donation (30% of profits) to the chimpanzee sanctuary and wildlife conservation trust, the Australian Bush Heritage Fund, and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, and a climate change (greenhouse abatement) project (details coming soon). We also support a variety of groups and organisations in their efforts by raising awareness for their work, and by selling shirts on their behalf via our website with all the profits going to each group. The Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust (CSWCT)
Chimpanzees have been classified as endangered and vulnerable to extinction in the next 100
years due to hunting and habitat destruction. Chimpanzees have been identified as an ideal
focal species for conservation as they play a crucial role in seed dispersal (keystone) and
typically require a very large home range (umbrella). CSWCT is working to care for chimpanzees
that are orphaned due to hunting, and also to protect remaining wild populations and their habitat.
Bush Heritage Australia
The Bush Heritage Australia is committed to preserving Australia's biodiversity by protecting the bush.
Since 1990 Bush Heritage Australia has been raising money from the community to create a network of
reserves across Australia. This has been achieved
by buying land of high conservation value and
ensuring its long-term protection. Bush Heritage Australia reserves are protected forever, and are actively
managed for conservation.
The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS)
WDCS, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, is the global voice for the protection of whales, dolphins and their environment. Established in 1987 its objectives are to reduce, and ultimately eliminate, the continuing threats to whales, dolphins and their habitats, and raise awareness of these wonderful animals and the need to protect them in their natural environment. WDCS achieves these objectives through a mix of campaigning, conservation, research, education and awareness.
It is unique in combining concern for the welfare of whale and dolphins with efforts to ensure the protection of species, populations and their environment.
